Red Childress
Red Childress has been guiding on the Allegheny River since 1995. He has many impressive citation fish to his resume. His specialty is guiding clients to trophy trout as well as trophy muskies. His favorite techniques are night time fishing during the ‘dog days’ of summer for big browns, muskies and walleye and Late-Fall fishing for walleye, trout and muskies.

- Graduated from Grundy High School 1987
- 4x High School state medalist in wrestling/1987 Virginia State Wrestling Champ
- Graduated from Lock Haven University w/BS in Health and Physical Education
- 3-year letterman while at LHU (Wrestling)
- Received Master’s of Education Degree from Gannon University in 2005 (Curriculum and Instruction)
- Caught first musky–1993
- Diagnosed with “Muskyitis”–1993
- Started Allegheny Guide Service–1995
- Health and Physical Ed. Teacher @Warren Area HS(PA) 1993-2001
- Currently teaching in the Falconer School District (NY) 2001-
- Seminar speaker at various Musky Clubs, Bass Pro/Gander Mtn./Cabela’s Retail Stores
